Mountain Air Resort | Master & Specialty Signage
 

Mountain Air is the kind of place where the setting does a lot of the storytelling. The challenge was creating a signage system that could belong to the mountain rather than compete with it. Working in partnership with DJS Design, Echo Four helped develop a cohesive visual language for the resort's master wayfinding and the specialty signage throughout the Village Green.
 

The master signage system brought a more refined and natural character to the resort, combining hand-carved wood, natural locust posts, and rusted metal details that complement the surrounding landscape and architecture. At the Village Green, that language became more expressive, with individually crafted signs, custom paint treatments, and hand-carved details that give the retail and community spaces their own personality.

The goal was to make getting around feel less like following signs and more like discovering the place. Every sign was designed to feel intentional, welcoming, and connected to the mountain environment, helping create a sense of place for residents, guests, and visitors throughout the resort.
