Coastal Carolina Community College | Campus Wayfinding & Identity

Coastal Carolina Community College is a busy, active campus with students, faculty, staff, and visitors moving between classrooms, parking areas, facilities, and campus services every day. The opportunity was to create a wayfinding experience that made navigating the campus feel intuitive while giving the college a stronger, more unified visual identity.
 

Working in partnership with DAWA, Inc, Echo Four helped develop a campus-wide system that balanced clear navigation with the character of the college. The project also created an opportunity to establish a refreshed identity for campus signage and maps, providing a visual foundation that could extend into future applications across the college.
 

The result was a more connected campus experience that helps people know where they are, where they need to go, and how to get there. By bringing wayfinding and identity together, the system became more than directional signage. It became a clearer expression of the college and a more welcoming experience for everyone who moves through the campus.
